Only a genuine Rubytec has undergone the important HDC treatment and is made of 85% polyester and 15% nylon. On top Rubytec towels are standard featured with an anti-bacterial treatment. Most of the other brands do not carry this advantages or missing at least one. Because of the so many copycat versions that have been put on the market, check the packaging and the towel on its original Rubytec label.
